What contaminants can Viomi RO water filter system reduce?
Viomi RO water filter system adopts advanced composite filter technology. The composite filter can intercept most of the harmful contaminants. Can effectively reduce TDS, hexavalent chromium, fluoride, lead, iron, cadmium, calcium, mercury, copper, selenium, barium, chloride, PFOS and chlorine in your tap water. Also ETL&FCC&FDA tested. TDS removal rate is certified up to 91.9% and the heavy metal reduction rate is certified up to 96.9%.
Can the reverse osmosis system be used for hard water?
The RO system will not be suggested used for hard water. If your feed water is hard water , you may need to install prefilter and a NOT salt based softener or scale inhibitor prior to the system.
Do I need plumbing services to install the reverse osmosis system?
No. Viomi RO systems are designed for DIY installation. You can install the system in around 30 minutes. Simply refer to the instruction manual and installation guide video, or contact us by email. This video explains how to install Viomi RO system.
